Birchbox "Women'sHealth" January 2015 - Review

Good evening everyone,

We all know January is one of the months where we all want to start out "health kicks" and resolutions no wonder after all the celebration "tipples" and masses of chocolate. So for January Birchbox have partnered with Women'sHealth to create the perfect revitalising box of goodies. This little box of heaven contains the perfect products to kick start January.

So anyways lets get on with the contents:

Birchbox never let us down with the prettiest boxes. :)

Birchbox always comes with the cutest little draw string bag.

Shaveworks The Cool Fix £11:

I'll be honest as soon as I saw this product I was amazed/excited by it. I myself have really sensitive skin so whenever I shave I get those awful lumping red bits so the thought of something that might actually help with that was amazing. I have tried this twice now and I have to say I have seen/felt a difference, instant relief in fact. This product smells sooo fresh and minty, the scent is so calming to me.

This gel lotion treats ingrown hairs, razor bumps and redness after hair removal. Apply to dry skin after waxing or shaving.

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle £14:

I tried this yesterday what a lovely scent so sweet I could smell it on my hair all day I would need to use it a bit more before I gave a full review.

This product detangles, adds shine and protects from both UVA rays and heat damage. Apply to damp hair and spray generously before combing and drying hair.

Birchbox Pilates Band £7.99:

What a great little touch to the box this was I am going to take it to work with me so I can do a few little exercises, every little helps. :)

Tone, increase strength and improve muscle endurance with this stretchy resistance band. Incorporate into your workout for extra resistance and faster results.

Activbod Feel Great Shower Concentrate £5:

Green tea mixed with almonds doesn't half create such a refreshing cooling scent. Ideal for the post work out shower.

Embrace Matcha Green Tea £24.99:

Ideal little item for those of us on our health kick helps with weight loss although not the most appetizing taste but I can force it down hehe. :)

100% natural with 10 times the antioxidants of regular green tea.

REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask £30:

I have heard a lot about this brand so I was super excited when I saw this cute sample sitting looking at me. The mask smells like citrus fruits.

A potent exfoliating mask formulated to renew the complexion improve skin tone and radiance and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

Apply a generous amount to the face and neck, leave for 10 minutes wipe off mask with a damp cloth. This product is not suitable for people with sensitive skin.

Stila Lip Glaze £15:

I have tried the Stila eye liner in another beauty box before and it was very impressive so I was excited to try this lip gloss. The product it's self is worth more than the actual Birchbox it is also full sized product ..yay.

Such a pretty colour the lightest pink with a slight shimmer, it's a little sticky but I am not used to wearing lip gloss so no doubt I will get used to it.

And finally a cute little item so relevant to the theme of this box the "Hit Refresh" challenge booklet. The booklet contatins 12 bite-sized challenges and some nice little tips.

My thoughts on this months box:

This months box contained 7 products including 2 full sized items, all products relevant to the theme of the box. The thing that I love about Birchbox is the range of products this months ranged from hair, skin, beauty and fitness.

This box is £10.00 plus £2.95 postage a month.

Hope you enjoyed this review. What was your favourite item from this months box?
