Bourjois Paris Smoky Stories Palette ; Review January 2015

Good morning loves,

So for Xmas my hubby got me the "Bourjois Smoky Stories Palette" and after avoiding trying another smoky eye after the last disaster I decided I would again give it a go. It was actually a lot easier than I thought as the colours compliment each other so well :)

Bourjois have a range of different colour quad palettes available the one I am using is:

01 Grey & Night - A classic grey theme, a stunning white and a silver glitter shade.

I'll be honest I was not overly keen on thought of the glitter on my eyes but there was no fall out with this product and it gives the eyes a stunning finish.

Here are the steps I took to get this look:

1. Add lighter grey for base on the lid,

2. Apply dark grey shade to outer corner and also created a winged affect and blended with 3. Blend
4. Apply dark grey under bottom lash line.
5. Apply white shade to the corner of my eyes and into the corner of top lid.
6.Take a small amount of glitter and dabbed over the top of the lid, apply as much as you would like.

Of course I am no expert this is the second time I have tried to achieve the smoky eyed look. Of course you could go a lot darker with this but I am not used to darker shades so I kept it a little on the lighter side.

This was the finished look , let me know what you think?

Have you used this product before?
